Using myself to parody familiar celebrity images we see everyday in the tabloids and magazines I attempt to explore where our fascination comes from.
The familiar poses of Celebs caught off guard, doing things they maybe shouldn’t be and even doing the mundane everyday jobs. Why is it we find their jog through the park, or trip to the shops so interesting? We revel in the fact that they may look unkempt then pride ourselves on looking like them. Celebrities seem to have such a influence on our lives that even young teenagers when asked what would they like to be when they get older? Often reply “a celebrity”. Here are a few photos taken from the project.
